in response to Halle... How do yo get all that, especially medicare and medicaid? I am on ssdi and they're saying that I have to pay $99.00 a month just for medicare part B. The only medicaid I qualify for is a medical needy program which has a $600.00 deductible that I have to meet every two months before it even kicks in: my dr bills are only about half that and my medication costs about $100.00 per month. I only get $835.00 a month from ssdi and I live in Iowa. Any help or information would be greatly appreciated because it is very hard to live on what I have left after all I have to pay out.....I would love to be able to get my own home too..
